LashDip Do’s and Don’ts

Your experience and satisfaction is very important to me. To ensure the best results and to properly maintain your LashDip application at home, please read and follow the prescribed After Care Instructions below.

LashDip Do’s

• Do keep your freshly “dipped” lashes dry 2-4 hours after LashDip application.
• Use only oil-free eye makeup remover while wearing LashDip.
• Gently pat face and lashes dry after cleansing.
• Schedule a LashRefresh appointment 2-3 weeks after your initial LashDip application.

LashDip Don’ts

• Do not swim or allow hot water to come in contact with your freshly “Dipped” lashes 24 hours after application. After 24 hours it becomes completely waterproof and sweat-proof.
• Don’t rub or touch your eyelashes when washing your face.
• Don’t steam face or use sauna while wearing LashDip.
• Don’t use an eyelash curler while wearing LashDip.
• Don’t rub, pick, or pull at lashes while wearing LashDip.

LashDip “FYI”

LashDip can be worn while using any type of lash growth product, such as Latisse, and is an amazing compliment to these treatments. It is best to temporarily discontinue use of these treatments for 72 hours after your initial LashDip application.

Application of LashDip takes anywhere from 45 min to one hour depending on the look you desire.

• The product will last anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks with proper maintenance.
• Complementary LashRefresh appointments should be scheduled 2-3 weeks after the initial application to keep regrowth fresh.
• Use only oil free eye make-up remover and oil free eye make-up.

Cost is $120.00 which includes complementary 2-3 week LashRefresh appointment.

My thoughts and opinion about LashDip:

LashDip can be genius for some women, and not so much for others. I will tell you that LashDip isn’t for women that rub or touch their eyes often as the oils in our fingers will break down the dip quickly. One of the most important aspects of the success of LashDip is that you can not touch your lashes. Also, if you don’t like the feeling of having mascara on 24/7, then LashDip isn’t for you.  LashDip has weight to it, just like mascara and your lashes will feel stiff and a little spiky. You will be given a fan brush which will be your tool for anytime you need to brush them back in shape.    It is also important to use an oil free make-up remover while wearing the LashDip to remove any make-up such as eye shadow or eyeliner.  You can wear mascara, but it must not be waterproof and easily removable with soap and water. It is important to curl your lashes before getting LashDip as you can not use a curler after.  For stubborn lashes, I suggest perming them first.

LashDip is very new, and if you aren’t happy with your results before it’s time for your LashRefresh appointment, I will be happy to remove the dip at no cost. I have also noticed that LashDip doesn’t like steam at all.  No one wants to take a cold shower, but hot showers with some ventilation would be best.  It tends to clump when exposed to steam for long periods of time.

Another option for a natural dramatic result while still maintaining soft feathery lashes, is to perm and tint the lashes.  A Perm mimics the look of an eyelash curler but can last up to 4 weeks and the tint will add black pigment also lasting up to 4 weeks.
